FireSafe Montana works to help Montana residents better understand the responsibilities of living in the wildland/urban interface and, through its outreach and education programs, helps them acquire the resources and tools they need to be better prepared for wildland fire.
Through our partnership with the Montana Broadcaster’s Association, we produce and air television and radio ads throughout the State promoting risk reduction through fuels mitigation, ignition resistant building standards, evacuation preparedness and home insurance knowledge.
In addition, working with our partners, we sponsor and participate in local programs to spread the word about the responsibilities or living in the WUI.
We publish three booklets to help prepare homeowners and landowners for the challenges of wildland fire. Click the button below to access these materials.
